Obituary of Arsenault, Annie "Mae"
The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Friday, February 12th, 2021 of Annie "Mae" Arsenault (Perry) of Summerside, aged 93 years. Mae was born in Palmer Road, P.E.I. to the late John and Stella Perry.
Beloved wife of the late Edward Arsenault and loving mother of Margaret (Tim) Gallant, Eddy Arsenault, Kevin (Daphne), Lillian Gallant (George Terris deceased), Marie (Winston) Myers, David Arsenault, Brenda (Maurice) Gallant. Also lovingly remembered by her 9 grandchildren Leslie, Shawn, Jonathan, Jennifer, Tamara, Jasmine, Samantha, Shannon and Keith and 2 great grandchildren Logan and Deacon.
Survived by her brothers and sisters Eva, Ida, Auldine, Ivan, Victor and Betty Ann and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her brothers Henry and Ralph by her sisters Lucy and Dora.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside. Due to Covid -19 restrictions a private funeral service will be held. Interment to take place in St. Paul's Cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations in Mae's memory can be made directly to the Prince County Hospital Foundation.

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
