Obituary of Cormier, Yvonne Suzanne

The death occurred peacefully with family by her side at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Monday, March 15th, 2021 of Yvonne Suzanne (nee Richard) Cormier of Le Chez Nous, Wellington and formerly of Miscouche, P.E.I., aged 93 years. Yvonne was born in Acadieville, NB. to the late Francois and Edmee (nee Roach) Richard. Beloved wife of the late Toussiant Cormier and loving mother of Desmond (Terry), Claudette (Gerry), Dennis, Glen and Carl. Also lovingly remembered by her 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Survived by her brothers and sisters Father Alphonse Richard, Gerald, Jean (Donalda), Leo Paul (Germaine), Rose LeBlanc (Paul), Bernadette, sisters in-law Malvina and Leona and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sisters Anita and Alma, brothers Eloi (Betty), Yvon, Bernard and Armand, brothers in-law Ulysse LeBlanc and Jean-Claude and sister in-law Doris. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside. Due to Coved 19 restriction a private funeral service will be held. Interment to take place in St. John the Baptist Church Cemetery, Miscouche at later date. Memorial donations in Yvonne?s memory can be made directly to the Prince County Hospital Foundation.
