Obituary of Grant, Lawrence Matthew John
The death occurred suddenly at his residence on Thursday, June 9th, 2022 of Lawrence Matthew John Grant of Summerside, aged 40 years. Lawrence was born in St. John, NB to Donald and Yvonne (nee Theriault) Grant.
Beloved husband of Tessa Burke and loving father to Markus, Destiny and Angel.
Predeceased by his brother and best friend Troy Grant and his nephew Jerome.
Survived by his brother Dan (Lorna) Arsenault, sister Bernice Grant, sister-in-law Katherine Wright, nieces and nephew Austin, Mya, Karter, Emily, Maria, Ethan, Payton, Wyatt, and Bastian, mother in-law Terry Morrison and brother in-law David (Shawna) Burke.
Lawrence will be missed by many friends and family in St. John.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, Summerside. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Donations in Lawrence's memory to PEI Mental Health and Addictions would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hour on Thursday June 16th, 2022 from 10:00 to 12:00 p.m.

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
