Obituary of Fraser, Robert "Bob" Blair
The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, PEI on Friday, March 26, 2021 of Robert "Bob" Blair Fraser with his loving partner of 31 years, Marge McRae by his side. Born in Alberton on March 7, 1945. He was the son of the late Samuel Fraser and Lottie Millett (Smith).
Cherished father to: Leslie Dunn, Melanie Fraser (Thomas DesRoches), Robin Smith (Kenneth) and Curtis Fraser (Carissa Ryan) all of Summerside, PEI. Loving grandfather to Nikki, Saralyn, Matthew, Jacob, Denika, Raquelle, Kristian, Clayton, Kendra, Kirsten, Clarity, Grace and Jack and 4 great grandchildren; Brady, Daniel, Violet and Cooper. He is predeceased by his parents, baby brother, Thomas and sister, Carol Cochrane.
Bob is survived by the following brother and sisters: Betty (Gerald), Susan (Russ), Janet (Garry), Kelly (Mike) all residing in Nova Scotia and Barry(Bonnie) of Cascumpec, PEI and brother in law, Ron Cochrane of Nova Scotia. Also Bob's Uncle Eric (Smith), Uncle Fred (Smith) and Aunt Blanche (Millman, nee Smith), many cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home at 245 Pope Road, Summerside. No funeral or visitation by personal request. Interment to take place in Peoples Cemetery, Summerside, at a later date. Celebration of Bobs' life will be held at a later date as well. Memorial donations in Bob's memory can be made directly to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the PEI Humane Society.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
