Obituary of Keough, Barbara Ann
The death occurred peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I., on Friday, April 9th, 2021 of Barbara (nee Bernard) Keough of Summerside and formerly of Borden Carleton, P.E.I, aged 74 years. Barb was born in Summerside to the late Alyre and Pauline (nee Gallant) Bernard.
Beloved wife of the late William "Billy" Keough and loving mother of Kim (John) Daigle and Susan (Guy) Belliveau. Also lovingly remembered by her 5 grandchildren Jorden (Brittany) Daigle, Alex Daigle (Carly Butler), Claire, Peter and Charlie Belliveau.
Survived by her sisters Cathy and Shelly Bernard, brother Reid (Colleen) Paynter, brothers and sisters in-law Judy Bernard (Gail), Bobby (Betsy), Rita Clarke, Doris (Billy) Darling, Diane (Joe) Dunphy, Theresa Lalonde (Guy Muise), Cindy (Jack) McGuirk, Ruth (Larry) Henry, Connie Billings, Marlene Currie and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her brother Brian Bernard, brothers and sisters in-law Ernie, Kenny, Everett (Brenda), Joe (Sybil), Leo, Mae (Melvin) MacCormick, Helen Keough, Shirley (Leo) Murphy, Peter Clarke, Mae Keough and Joann Keough.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside. Due to the Covid-19 restrictions a private funeral service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Barb's memory can be made directly to the Prince County Hospital Foundation or P.E.I. Lung Association.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
