Obituary of Richard, Oscar A.

The death occurred peacefully surrounded by his loving wife and daughters at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Sunday May 2nd, 2021 of Oscar A. Richard of Summerside, aged 79 years. Oscar was born in Mont-Carmel, P.E.I. to the late Stanley and Demerise Richard. Beloved husband of Martina (Gallant) Richard and loving father of Donna (Johnny) LeBlanc, Linda (Fenton) Campbell and Lisa Richard (Chris Gilfoy). Also lovingly remembered by his 9 grandchildren Melissa (Jarred), Tyler, Jessica (Jordan), Maddie, Damien, Samantha, Bryan, Emma and Dylan, 4 great grandchildren Caraline, Renley, Calvin and Kyla. Survived by his brothers and sisters Lumina (Phil), Adrien, Aldine, Alyre (Aldine), brothers-in-law Everett and Gerry and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers Freddie and Cyril, sisters Celina and Marcy and brother in-law Cedric. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside. Due to Covid 19 restrictions a private funeral service will be held. Interment to take place in St. Paul's Cemetery, Summerside. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Oscar's memory can be made directly to the Canadian Society, Heart & Stroke Foundation or Summerset Manor.
