Obituary of Simmons, Dan

Dan Simmons died peacefully at Prince County Hospital on Monday, May 10, 2021, age 63. He will be buried alongside his mother Julie (Meikle) Simmons and grandparents George and Marion Meikle. Dan is survived by wife Marilyn (Pridham), daughter Lisa (Pierre), grandson Miles Babin, sister Susan, father Don (Claudette), half-brother Michael and ex-wife, Ollie (Companion). Gone too soon, but joining departed friends and fellow music lovers Reggie and Jeff to continue their lively discussions about their favorite bands. Dan recently retired from the Tax Centre where he worked for 22 years. His friends would say he always had their back. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Prince County Hospital Foundation and go out and support your local musicians when you can! Graveside service will be held sometime in July when we hope out of province family and friends can attend.
