Obituary of DesRoches, John Joseph

The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I., on Thursday, July 1st, 2021 of John Joseph DesRoches of Summerside, P.E.I., aged 59 years. John was born in Summerside to the late Elmer and Dorothy (Gallant) DesRoches. Special friend of Sue DesRoches and loving father of Sarah (Robert) Rhynes her mother Cindy Peterson, Chelsea (Trevor), John (Jill), Travis and their mother Kim Gavin. Also lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Kayden, Kentley, Khloe, Kylie, Kallie, Amelia, Brielle, Logan, Isabella, Hope and Madelyn. Survived by his brothers and sisters Patricia Arsenault, Joyce (Eldon Arsenault), Helen (Junior) Albert, Stella DesRoches ( Brad LaViolette), Carolyn Fortuna (Edward Arsenault), Lornie (Gail) DesRoches, Marlene Loo, Shelley Bryan (Jimmy Arsenault), Roger DesRoches (Mary Clements), Ferdie DesRoches (Wei Kao), Rocky (Sherry) Gallant, sister in-law Angelica DesRoches and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother Raymond DesRoches and brother in-law Ensor Campbell. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside. Due to Covid 19 restrictions a private wake and funeral service will be held. Interment to take place in St. Paul's Cemetery, Summerside. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in John's memory to the Funeral expense funds would be greatly appreciated.
