Obituary of Doucette, John Peter

The death occurred suddenly at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Thursday , August 27th , 2009 of John Peter Doucette of Summerside, P.E.I., aged 41 years. John was born on April 17th, 1968 in Summerside to his parents Francis & Marie ( nee Gaudet ) Doucette. Beloved fiance of Beth Thompson and loving step-father of Jennifer and Stephanie. Also lovingly remembered by several nieces & nephews. Survived by his brother and sisters Sharon of Ch'town, P.E.I., Gerry (Charlene ) , Susan ( Tony ) Perry, & Rose Kelly all of S'side, Lisa ( Steven ) VanderVeen of Margate, P.E.I. & Irma ( Donnie ) of Drayton Valley, Alb.. John was predeceased by his grandparents Lorraine & John Peter Gaudet and Agnes & Emmanuel Doucette. Resting at East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Tuesday, September 1st, 2009 then to St. Paul's Church, S'side for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m.. Interment to take place in the church cemetery. Visiting hours on Monday, 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m..
