Obituary of Steele, Margurite Edna

The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by her loving family at the Prince County Hospital , Summerside on Monday, February 8th , 2010 of Margurite Edna Steele ( nee Casey ) of Andrews Lodge and formerly of Summerside, P.E.I., aged 90 years. Margurite was born on March 3rd , 1919 in Summerside, P.E.I. to her late parents William & Marie Jennie ( nee Richards ) Casey. Beloved wife of the late Ernest Steele. Margurite is survived by her 10 children : Ernestine England, Jeanne ( John ) Murphy, Ernest Jr., Kenny ( Donna ) , Natalie Steele all of Summerside, Gail ( Bobby ) Betton of Margate, Marilyn ( Arthur ) Millar of Birch Hill, Debbie ( Paul ) Mullin of Ch'town, Susan ( Larry ) Baldwin of Kanata, On. and Cathy ( Claude ) Lindsay of Orleans, On.. Also lovingly remembered by her brother Stanley Casey of Vancouver, B.C., her 15 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and her husband, Margurite was predeceased by brothers Antoine, Joseph, Freddie, Irving, Frankie and Wilfred; sisters Jeanne and Maude and son-in-law Ron England. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Thursday, February 11th , then to St. Paul's Church, Summerside for funeral mass at 2:00 p.m. . Interment to take place in the church cemetery at a later date. No visiting hours by personal request.
