Obituary of Arsenault, Emily Mary
The death occurred peacefully at Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Friday July 23rd, 20121 of Emily Mary Arsenault (Thibodeau) of Summerside, aged 84 years. Emily was born in Ebbsfleet, P.E.I.to the late Carl and Elizabeth Thibodeau (McCormick).
Beloved wife of the late Ivan Arsenault and loving mother of Christine, Joey (Roxanne), Barry (Lisa), Shelley (Randy) and Brian (Blanche). Also lovingly remembered by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survived by her brothers and sisters Dally (Dorothy), Rosie, Bernetta (Harold), Shirley, Gerarda (Bob) and Gilbert.
Predeceased by her son in-law Wayne, brothers and sister Herbie (Josie), Reggie, Alvina (Paulie), Betty, Leo and Patrick, brothers in-law David and Bobby.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside. Due to Covid 19 restrictions a private funeral mass will be held at St. Paul's Church. Interment to take place in the church cemetery. Memorial donations in Emily's memory can be made directly to PEI Humane Society.

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
