Obituary of Noonan, Emma Melvina

The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by her loving family at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Saturday, February 20th, 2010 of Emma Melvina Noonan ( nee Laughlin )of the South Shore Villa,Crapaud and formerly of Linden Ave., Summerside, P.E.I. , aged 95 years. Emma was born on January 5th,1915 in Belmont, Lot # 16, P.E.I. to her late parents Peter & Mary ( nee Lynch ) Laughlin. Beloved wife of the late Raymond Noonan and loving mother of Cathy ( Bob ) Flower of Summerside. Also lovingly remembered by her 11 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. As the last surviving member of her family, Emma was predeceased by several brothers & sisters, her daughters Beatrice & Sheila in infancy, her son Eric and her daughter Joyce Arsenault. Following cremation, a Memorial Service will be held at the East Prince Funeral Home Chapel, 245 Pope Road, Summerside, on Saturday, March 6th, 2010 at 2:00 p.m.. Interment to take place in St.Peter's Cemetery, Seven Mile Bay at a later date. By personal request there will be no visiting hours. Memorial donations in Emma's memory to the Prince County Hospital Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
