Obituary of Peters, Alan William
The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by his loving family at the Wedgewood Manor, Summerside, P.E.I. on Thursday, March 25th, 2010 of Alan William Peters of Summerside, aged 63 years. Alan was born on May 7th, 1946 in Summerside , P.E.I. to his late parents William & Phyllis ( nee Arsenault ) Peters.
Loving father of Michelle (Kenny) Johnson of Summerside and her mother, Nora Peters also of Summerside. Lovingly remembered by his 3 grandchildren Hailey, Jake & Julia along with several nieces & nephews. Survived by the following brothers & sisters: Donat Peters of Brampton, On., Gloria Lucas of S'side, Bernie ( Patricia ) of Miscouche,June Schleyer ( Doug ) of Ottawa, On and Arlene Peters of S'side.
Besides his parents, Alan was predeceased by his sister Theresa Morrison.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Monday, March 29th , then to St. Paul's Church, Summerside for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m.. Interment to take place in People's Cemetery, S'side at a late date. Visiting hours on Sunday evening only ,6 - 9 p.m. Memorial donations in Alan's memory to the P.E.I. Humane Society or the Prince County Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
