Obituary of Bryanton, Lorne Joseph
The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by his loving family at the Palliative Care Unit of the Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Tuesday, June 29th, 2010 of Lorne Joseph Bryanton, well known cement finisher at the age of 57 years.
Loving husband, friend & companion of Judy (Warren/MacLeod) Bryanton. Beloved father of Kim (Paul) Thompson, Shawn (Rachel) MacDonald, Steven (Tracey) Flynn, Stephanie (Shelby) Ellsworth and Newf Richards. Grandfather of Brandon & Kendra Thompson, Darci MacDonald, Zach & Noah Flynn, Kaily & Brad Ellsworth and Tony Wilson. Brother of Albert (Olive) Bryanton.
Predeceased by his parents Percy & Norah (Elliott) Bryanton and wife Karen (Arsenault/Flynn) Bryanton.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside with visitation on Thursday, July 1st, 6 - 9 p.m. By Lorne's request, there will be no funeral service held. In lieu of flowers, donations to Lorne's funeral expense would be greatly appreciated.

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
