Obituary of Warren, Anne Rita
The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Wednesday, July 21st , 2010 of Anne Rita Warren ( nee Herrell ) of Summerside and formerly of Hope River, aged 88 years. Anne was born on May 6th, 1922 in St. Patrick's, P.E.I. to her late parents, Cornelius & Margaret ( nee Gallant ) Herrell.
Beloved wife of the late Ernest Warren and loving mother of Arnold (Irene) Kiggins, Joyce Ford, Allan (Deborah) Warren, Doris (Barry) MacDonald, Cathy (Kevin) DesRoches, Kevin (Judy Lamey), Linda (Donnie Brown) & Bonnie Warren (Lesley Hartman). Grandmother of Gale Sprague, Doug Breau, Sharon Johnston, Carol O'Shea, Tammy Hill-Worth, Lloyd Ford, Jamie Januszczak, Josh Warren, Nathan & Erin MacDonald, Jarett DesRoches, Katie DesRoches, Matthew & Dylan Warren, Hannah & Shane Johnston, Molly & Jillian O'Shea and Emily Irving. Great-Grandmother of Andrew & Alex Spraque, Ryan, Adam & Kayla Breau, Brandon & Gracie Worth, Chelsey & Shaylynn Ford, Alyson Juergens, Jenna & Kaitlyn Januszczak and Kiersten DesRoches. Great-great-grandmother of Isabella, Quinten, Lucan & Sophie Juergens and numerous nieces and nephews.
Anne is also survived by her sisters Velda (Bud) Bell, Nora (Lawrence) Campbell and Gloria Batchilder.
Besides her husband and parents, Anne was predeceased by her daughters Eleanor (Ivan) Breau & Joan Hill, sisters Verda George, Eileen Grant, Bertha Herrell (in infancy) and brothers Maynard (in infancy), John Maynard, Vernon, Clifford and Leo Herrell.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Saturday, July 24th , then to St. Paul's Church, Summerside for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Private interment to follow in the family plot at St. Anne's Cemetery. Hope River. Visiting hours on Friday , 2 - 4 & 6 - 9 p.m.. Memorial donations in Anne's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
Members of St. Paul's Church C.W.L. will hold a Prayer Service at the funeral home on Friday afternoon at 3:45 p.m. .

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
