Obituary of Bryanton, Ralph Alvin
The death occurred peacefully & surrounded by his loving family at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Saturday, August 14th , 2010 of Ralph Alvin Bryanton of Kensington and formerly of Baltic, P.E.I. , aged 82 years. Ralph was born on November 28th , 1927 in Hamilton, P.E.I. to his late parents, Edgar & Carrie ( nee Brander ) Bryenton.
Beloved husband of Phyllis ( nee Muirhead ) Bryanton and loving father of Terry Lynn MacKenzie ( Donald Jorgensen ) of Indian River and Gerald ( Gail ) Bryanton of Baltic. Survived by his brothers and sister : James Bryenton of Kensington, Reginald ( Jean ) Bryenton , Thurza ( John ) Nicholson & Wallace ( Betty ) Bryenton , all of Kensington. Also lovingly remembered by his sister-in-law Christine Muirhead of Summerside , along with numerous nieces & nephews.
Besides his parents , Ralph was predeceased by his brothers George ( Gladys ) Bryenton, Heath Bryanton & Delmar ( Jo ) Bryenton and his brother-in-law Wayne Muirhead.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Wednesday, August 18th , for funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment to take place in Malpeque United Church Cemetery. Visiting hours on Tuesday evening only, 6 - 9 p.m.. Memorial donations in Ralph's memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
