Obituary of Price, Avard " Duke " Ernest

The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Monday, September 6th , 2010 of Avard 'Duke' Ernest Price of Summerside and formerly of Scarborough, ON. , aged 77 years. Duke was born on March 29th , 1933 in Saint John, N.B. to his late parents, Ernest & Margaret ( nee Titus ) Price. Beloved husband of Aurella ( nee Doucette ) Price and loving father of Kelly ( Marcel ) LeGault and Jason Price, all of Toronto, ON. . Also lovingly remembered by 2 grandchildren, Marcel & Andre ; step-daughter Sybil ( Alan ) MacDonald of Ten Mile House, sisters Connie ( Warner ) Frobrich of Cambridge, ON. and Ellen Maddock of Alliston, ON. and sister-in-law Georgina Price of Halifax, N.S. . Besides his parents, Duke was predeceased by grandparents Clifford & Susan Price, his brother John and brother-in-law Bill Maddock. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Tuesday, September 14th for a Memorial Service in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 a.m.. No visiting hours by personal request. Memorial donations in Duke's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
