Obituary of Goguen, Leo Joseph

The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital , Summerside, P.E.I. on Sunday, November 14th, 2010 of Leo J. Goguen of Summerside, aged 77 years. Leo was born on September 4th , 1933 in Port Elgin, N.B. to his late parents, Alphea and Delia ( nee Richard ) Goguen. Beloved husband of Loretta ( nee Cogger ) Goguen and loving father of Joe ( Sophia ) of Ottawa, On., Maurice ( Brenda ) of Winnipeg , Man. , Gerry ( Donna ) of Greenwood, N.S., Michael ( Bonnie ) of Kinkora, P.E.I. and Brian ( Shelley ) of Amherst, N.S. . Also lovingly remembered by his 12 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews. Survived by his brothers & sister : Ovila ( Rose Marie ), Gerard ( Roma ) , Valmont ( Laura ) , Sr. Marie Rose, Robert ( Dianne ) and Camille ( Nancy ). Besides his parents, Leo was predeceased by his sister Theresa Vautour and his brother Laurie Goguen. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Thursday, November 18th for funeral mass at St. Paul's Church, Summerside at 2:00 P.M. . Interment to take place in the church cemetery. Visiting hours on Wednesday evening only , 7 - 9 P.M. .
