Obituary of Campbell, Malcolm James
The death occurred peacefully with family by his side at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Sunday, April 3rd, 2011 of Malcolm James Campbell of Summerside, aged 77 years. Malcolm was born on January 24th, 1934 in Brooklyn, P.E.I. to his late parents, Simon & Ruth ( nee Mellish ) Campbell.
Beloved husband of the late Mary Elizabeth ( nee Murphy ) Campbell and loving father of Debbie ( Blair ) MacLean of Summerside, Sandy ( Debra ) of Cymbria, Jill ( Brian ) Gervais of Brooks, AB. & James ( Kara ) of Charlottetown. Survived by his brother and sisters : Donald ( Fran ) of Port Hope, ON., Jean MacLean of Stratford, P.E.I. and Christine ( Mike ) Kramarczyk of London, ON.. Also lovingly remembered by his 5 grandchildren : Brad ( Kim ) MacLean of Dartmouth, N.S., Monica ( Alex ) Affleck of Lower Bedeque, Matthew Campbell of Cymbria, and Mary & Danielle Gervais of Brooks, AB., his 7 great-grandchildren : Mary, Malcolm, Melanie & Olivia MacLean and Percy, Jack & Carly Affleck, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Wednesday, April 6th for funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 a.m. . Interment to take place in the Brooklyn Community Cemetery, Brooklyn, P.E.I. at a later date. Visiting hours on Tuesday evening only 7 - 9 p.m.. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Malcolm's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
