Obituary of Cameron, Lea Henry

The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by his loving family at the Q.E. II Hospital, Halifax , N.S. on Monday, June 13th , 2011 of Lea Henry Cameron of Southwest Lot 16 , P.E.I., aged 68 years. Lea was born on April 29th , 1943 in Lot 16, P.E.I. to his late parents Russell and Gladys ( nee MacKinnon ) Cameron. Beloved husband of Doris ( nee Waite ) Cameron and loving father of Jeannie Cameron of Summerside and Lea-Anne ( Mike ) Jenkins of London, ON. and their mother Bernadette Jones, step-father of Donna ( Bloyce ) Curtis and Karen ( Jim ) Sudsbury all of Slemon Park , Heather ( Pete ) Sudsbury-Hachey of Mississauga, ON. and step-son Michael ( Michelle ) Sudsbury of Uxbridge, ON. . Also lovingly remembered by his 3 grandchildren, Brock and Mitch Lamers and Tyler Jenkins, 9 step-grandchildren and 4 step-great-grandchildren. Survived by his brother Elmer ( Sheila ) of Moncton , N.B. and sisters Ellamay Deighan of Summerside, Vera Fitzgerald of Ontario , Jean Smith of Saint John, N.B. and Betty ( Vince ) Poirier of Summerside, his niece Barb ( David ) Wedge of Summerside, nephew Clair ( Janice ) Cameron of Chilliwack, B.C. and numerous other nieces and nephews . Besides his parents, Lea was predeceased by his brothers Ivan( Isabel ) and Edson ( Isabel ) , sisters Edith ( Major ) and Helen ( Ernest ) Gamble and brothers-in-law Roy Fitzgerald, Bob Smith, Wallace Deighan, Claude and Robert Waite and father-in-law Robert Waite Sr. . Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Friday, June 17th , for a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 p.m. . Interment to take place in St. John's Anglican Cemetery, St. Eleanors. Memorial donations in Lea's memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association or St. John's Anglican Church Cemetery Fund would be greatly appreciated.
