Obituary of Finch, Robert " Bob " Ernest

Peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on his 71st birthday Saturday, June 18th , 2011 of Robert Ernest Finch of Summerside , P.E.I.. Bob was born on June 18th , 1940 in North Bay, ON. to his late parents William & Bessie ( nee Breary ) Finch . Beloved partner of Shirley Allen and loving father of Marty (Cathy Turple) of N.S., Rob ( Tara ) of Ottawa, ON., Jason ( Michelle ) of Alberta and their mother Thelma Gaudet of Summerside. Also lovingly remembered by his 8 grandchildren and several nieces & nephews. Survived by his brother & sisters Donna ( Ron ) Dickie , Peter ( Carole ) Finch and Helen ( David ) Leslie all of ON.. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Thursday, June 23rd , then to St. John the Baptist Church, Miscouche for funeral mass at 1:00 p.m.. Interment to take place in the church cemetery. Memorial donations in Bob's memory to the Prince County Hospital Foundation .
