Obituary of Bent, Katharina

The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by her loving family at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Monday, July 25th , 2011 of Katharina Bent ( nee Litzlbauer ) of Summerside , P.E.I. aged 94 years. Katharina was born on February 12th , 1917 in Ried, Austria to her late parents Georg and Aloisia ( nee Petershofer ) Litzlbauer. Beloved wife of the late Percy Bent and loving mother of Eric ( Arlene ) of Mt. Uniacke , N.S. and Sherry Wright of Middleton. Also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Ryan ( Lynn ) Wright of Middleton and Jean and Sandra Wright of Halifax, N.S. , her sister-in-law Karney Wilson of Steam Mill , N.S. and many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, Katharina was predeceased by brother Karl and sisters Mitzi and Luisa all formerly of Austria, her son-in-law Wyman Wright and the following brothers and sisters-in-law : Ken and Bernice Stronach , Jack and Marguerite Glydon, Arthur and Audrey Jefferson , Basil Wilson and Joan Povolo . Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Friday, July 29th for a Memorial Service in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 p.m. . Interment to take place in People's Cemetery, Summerside. Memorial donations in Katharina's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated.
