Obituary of Holland, Anna Mae

The death occurred peacefully in the arms of her Lord at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Tuesday, August 30th , 2011 of Anna Mae Holland ( nee MacKinnon ) of Summerside, P.E.I. , aged 87 years. Anna was born on January 1st , 1924 in Sydney, N.S. to her late parents Daniel and Elizabeth ( nee Curry ) MacKinnon. Beloved wife of the late Linus Carl Holland and loving mother of Charles ( Shirley ) of Sydney, N.S., Mike of Summerside and Brent ( Peggy ) of Kensington. Also lovingly remembered by 4 grandchildren and her beloved cat Rudy. Besides her parents and husband, Anna was predeceased by brothers Bobby, Michael and Daniel A. MacKinnon and her sister Mary Doyle. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside where a private family service will be held. Interment to take place in Sydney , N.S. at a later date. Memorial donations in Anna's memory to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated. No visiting hours by personal request.
