Obituary of Skerry, Lois Blanche

The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside , P.E.I. on Tuesday, November 8th , 2011 of Lois Blanche Skerry ( nee Gordon ) of Summerside,aged 86 years. Lois was born on August 9th , 1925 in Alma, P.E.I. to her late parents James and Empress ( nee McNeill ) Gordon. Beloved wife of the late Merle Skerry and loving mother of Faye ( James ) Bourque and Blaine, all of Summerside. Survived by her sisters June ( Hansen ) Oliver of Summerside, Ruby Smith of Nova Scotia and Shirley Sanders of Ontario, her sister-in-law Shirley Skerry of Grand Tracadie and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, Lois was predeceased by her brothers John Owen and Donald Gordon and her brother-in-law Albert Smith. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Thursday, November 10th then to Peoples' Cemetery, Summerside for a graveside committal service at 2:00 p.m. . By personal request there will be no visiting hours or funeral service held. Memorial donations in Lois' memory to the P.E.I.
