Obituary of Pineau, Leonard Eugene

The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by his loving family at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Wednesday, January 4th , 2012 of Leonard Eugene Pineau of Summerside, aged 84 years. Leonard was born on May 21st , 1927 in Charlottetown, P.E.I. to his late parents Mosie & Florence ( nee Bell ) Pineau. Beloved husband of the late Lila ( nee MacDonald ) Pineau and loving father of Sheila ( Kenny ) Walsh of St. Eleanors, Lyndon( Kathy ) Pineau of Summerside and Sharon ( Eric ) Paynter of Hamilton,P.E.I. . Also lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Tammy Richards, Kent & Mike Walsh, Alyssa Biggar , Stefan & Braylyn Pineau and their mother Gloria Pineau and several nieces and nephews. Survived by his sisters Leona Gaudet & Shirley Clow of Summerside and his brother Terry Pineau of Elliot Lake, ON. . Besides his parents and his wife, Leonard was predeceased by his brothers Francis & Bazil, his sister Theresa in infancy and his brother-in-law Preston Clow. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Saturday, January 7th , 2012 , then to St. Paul's Church, Summerside for a funeral mass at 10:00 a.m.. Interment to take place the church cemetery. Visiting hours on Friday, 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. . Memorial donations in Leonard's memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association or to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
