Obituary of Perry, Betty
The death occurred peacefully at the Summerset Manor, Summerside , P.E.I. on Monday, August 13th , 2012 of Elizabeth "Betty" Perry of Summerside , aged 82 years. Betty was born on February 25th , 1930 in Wellington , P.E.I. to her late parents Sylvere and Kathleen Perry .
Beloved wife of the late Fidele Perry and loving mother of Cindy ( Doug ) Thomson of Summerside. Lovingly remembered by her granddaughter Brittney Thomson and several nieces and nephews. Survived by the following sisters Edith White of ON. , Kay Williams of Clinton, P.E.I., Elsie Silliker and Una McCarville both of Summerside.
Besides her parents and husband, Betty was predeceased by her brother Don Perry, her sisters Marie Corkery and Doris Stevens, her brothers-in-law David McCarville, Steve Stevens, Ed Silliker and Emmett Williams and sister-in-law Gloria Perry.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Wednesday, August 15th , 2012 then to St. Paul's Church, Summerside for a funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. . Interment to take place in the church cemetery. Visiting hours on Tuesday evening only , 7 - 9 p.m. . Memorial donations in Betty's memory to the Alzeimers Society would be greatly appreciated .

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
