Obituary of Arsenault, Stanley Joseph
The death occurred peacefully at Clinton View Lodge, Clinton, P.E.I. on Saturday, August 18th , 2012 of Stanley Joseph Arsenault, formerly of Summerside and Central Bedeque, P.E.I. , aged 84 years. Stanley was born on September 11th , 1927 in Central Bedeque, P.E.I. to his late parents Eloi and Mary Anne "Nan" ( nee Gallant ) Arsenault.
Beloved husband of the late Nancy ( nee Luce ) Arsenault and loving father of Paul ( Sherri ) and Donald , all of Summerside. Also lovingly remembered by his grandsons Logan and Cameron Arsenault and several nieces and nephews. Survived by his brothers Gordon of Mississauga, ON. and Art ( Jean ) of Calgary, AB . , his brother-in-law Richard Ravenelle of Rochester , N.H., U.S.A. and his sister-in-law Theresa Arsenault of Pembroke, ON.
Besides his parents and his wife, Stanley was predeceased by his brother Fred and his sister Shirley Ravenelle.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Wednesday, August 22nd for a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 10:30 a.m. . Interment will take place at St. Paul's Cemetery, Summerside. Memorial donations in Stanley's memory to the Funeral Expense Fund would by greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Tuesday evening only, 7 - 9 p.m. .

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
