Obituary of Warren, Alan Heath
The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by his loving family at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside , P.E.I. on Monday, October 22th , 2012 of Alan Heath Warren of Summerside , P.E.I. , aged 75 years. Alan was born on July 10th, 1937 in Summerside, P.E.I. to his late parents Heath and Mildred ( nee Bernard ) Warren.
Beloved husband of Doris ( nee MacEachern ) Warren and loving father of Sandra ( Bruce ) Hickey of Summerside , Stephen ( Christine ) of Edmonton, AB., Julie ( Terry ) Foster of Summerside and Jonathan ( Melanie ) of Winnipeg, MB. Also lovingly remembered by his four grandchildren : Ashley and Matthew Warren, Carly Foster , Zac Warren along with numerous nieces and nephews. Survived by his brother Gerald ( Maureen ) of Edmonton, AB. .
By personal request, Alan has been transferred to the Dalhousie Medical Science Centre, Halifax , N.S. . A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, October 25th at the Summerside Presbyterian Church at 2:00 p.m. . Interment will take place in People's Cemetery, Summerside at a later date. Memorial donations in Alanâs memory to the Summerside Presbyterian Church or the Prince County Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Wednesday, 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road , Summerside.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
