Obituary of Martin, Clifford Francis
The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by his loving family at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Sunday, November 25th , 2012 of Clifford Francis Martin of Summerside and formerly of Middleton, P.E.I., aged 81 years. Clifford was born on December 19th , 1930 in Emerald Junction, P.E.I., to his parents Maxim and Anna ( nee Arsenault ) Martin.
Beloved husband of Rita ( nee Arsenault ) Martin and loving father of Maxine ( Andy ) Paynter of Summerside and Chris ( Lisa ) Martin of Greenwood, N.S. Also lovingly remembered by his two grandchildren, Devin and Riley and several nieces and nephews.
Beside his parents, Clifford was predeceased by three sisters and one brother.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home , 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Wednesday, November 28th, for a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 a.m. . Interment to take place in St. Paul's Cemetery, Summerside. Visiting hours on Tuesday, 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Memorial donations in Clifford's memory to the Prince County Hospital Foundation or to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
