Obituary of Pineau, Ronald Joseph
The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by his loving family at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside , P.E.I. on Tuesday, December 11th , 2012 of Ronald Joseph Pineau of Slemon Park and formerly of Summerside, P.E.I., aged 73 years. Ronald was born on January 3rd, 1939 in Summerside, P.E.I. to his late parents, Peter and Rosella ( nee Arsenault ) Pineau.
Beloved common-law husband of Marie " Colette " Arsenault. Survived by his brothers Ivan, Vernon ( Marion ) and Eugene all of Summerside, Douglas of Amherst, N.S., Earl ( Rickie Ann ) of Kinkora and his sister Cynthia ( Andrew ) Duff of Stittsville, ON. Also lovingly remembered by his brother-in-law Phil Malone of Summerside and many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Ronald was predeceased by his sisters Bernadette Gallant, Evelyn Burke, Chris Buteau and Teresa Malone.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Saturday, December 15th, then to St. Paul's Church, Summerside for a funeral mass at 1:30 p.m. . Interment to take place in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Ronald's memory to St. Paul's Church Cemetery Fund, Summerside Community Connections or Summerside Meals on Wheels would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Friday evening only, 7 - 9 p.m. .

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
