Obituary of Gallant, Emily Mary

The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Friday, December 28th , 2012 of Emily Mary ( nee Gaudet ) Gallant of Summerside, P.E.I., aged 92 years. Emily was born on November 28th, 1920 in Richmond, P.E.I. to her late parents Ben and Sophie ( nee Gallant ) Gaudet. Beloved wife of the late Don Gallant and loving mother of Ron ( Evelyn ) of Richmond, P.E.I., Sandra ( Stan ) Gallant and Gerald all of Summerside, also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren; Jimmy Arsenault(Andrea Lecky), Nicky ( Marc ) Gaudet, Darren Gallant, Randy Gallant ( Shelley Arsenault ), Jennifer Gallant and great grandchildren: Cierra and Chase Gaudet and Liam, Hannah and Erin Arsenault-Gallant and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, Emily was predeceased by her brothers: Leonard and Earl Gaudet and her sisters: Rita, Lumina, Nettie, Rose and Alvina. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Monday, December 31st , where a funeral service will take place in the funeral home chapel at 10:30 A.M.. Interment to take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donation's in Emily's memory to the P.E.I. Lung Association would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Monday morning, December 31st from 9:00 a.m. until time of funeral service.
