Obituary of Perry, Stephen Edward
The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by his loving family at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown , P.E.I. on Tuesday, January 8th , 2013 of Stephen Edward Perry of Charlottetown and formerly of Summerside, P.E.I., aged 59 years. Stephen was born on April 11th, 1953 in Summerside, P.E.I. to his late parents John and Rose ( nee Arsenault ) Perry.
Beloved husband of Donna ( nee MacDonald ) Perry and loving father of Jason ( Jolene ), Ann Perry, Troy all of Summerside and Justin ( Lindsey ) of Charlottetown. Also lovingly remembered by his 9 grandchildren : Jordan, Alex, Ameila, Michael, Chloe, Ava, Ali, Keegan and Sierra. Survived by the following brothers and sisters : Marie ( Gilles ) Plourde, Alcide , Donnie ( Sheila ), Cyril ( Phyllis ) , Irene ( Wayne ) Bernard, John ( JoAnne ), Linda ( Wayne ) Doucette, Betty ( Kenny ) Waite and Kevin. Also remembered by his brothers-and-sisters-in-law : Vivian MacKinnon, Hubert MacDonald, Brian ( Marilyn ) MacDonald, Lorraine MacDonald ( Richard ) , Patsy ( Jim ) Peters, Laura MacDonald and Mary Perry.
Besides his parents, Stephen was predeceased by his brother Alfred, his sister Anne, sister-in-law Esther MacDonald and brothers-in-law Gerald MacDonald and Lloyd MacKinnon.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Saturday, January 12th , then to St. John the Baptist Church, Miscouche for a funeral mass at 10:30 a.m.. Interment to take place in the church cemetery at a later date. Visiting hours on Friday , 3 - 5 and 7 - 9 p.m. Memorial donations in Stephen's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Muscular Dystrophy Association would be greatly appreciated.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
