Obituary of Noonan, Harry
The death occurred peacefully at the South Shore Villa, Crapaud, P.E.I. on Thursday, January 24th , 2013 of Harry Noonan, formerly of Fort St. John, B.C., aged 87 years. Veteran of World War II . Harry was born on May 31st, 1925 in Albany, P.E.I. to his parents Thomas and Clara ( nee Croken ) Noonan.
Survived by his sisters Gladys of N.B. and Clara of ON. and sister-in-law Laurana Noonan of Charlottetown. Also lovingly remembered by family
members : Bev. Tom, Tasha, Ty, Jase and Elly along with numerous other nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Harry was predeceased by his brothers Harold, Bert, Sterling, Linus, Abraham and Everett and his sisters Blanche, Hilda and Vera.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Monday, January 28th, then to St. Peter's Church, Seven Mile Bay for a funeral mass at 1:30 p.m.. Interment to take place in the church cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations in Harry's memory to St. Peter's Church Cemetery Fund would be greatly appreciated. By personal request there will be no visiting hours held.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
