Obituary of Arsenault, Ella M.
On October 12, Ella M. Arsenault (nee Bulger) of Summerside, age 67, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family. She is the beloved wife of Urbain Arsenault, loving mother of Pauline Dicy, and proud grandmother of Emilia Dicy. She will be lovingly remembered by sisters in law Lynn Bulger, Marcella (Danny) Adams, brother-in-law Ivan (Marg) Arsenault, many nieces and nephews, her best friend Jinny Ferguson and also by the many coworkers, farmers and truckers at Cavendish Agri Services. For many of Pauline's friends, Ella will forever be loved and remembered as their second mom.
She was predeceased by her parents Leo and Agnes Bulger, brother Joseph Bulger, father-in-law Ferdinand Arsenault, mother-in-law Melina Arsenault, brothers-in-law Andrew and Albert Arsenault and sister-in-law Florence Paynter.
During Ella's illness she received absolutely wonderful care from Home Care nurses, the Home Support team, paramedics, and also from the doctors, nurses, technicians, and staff of Prince County Hospital, Queen Elizabeth Hospital and QE Cancer Center. On behalf of her family and friends, we thank you for the kindness, compassion and support you gave to Ella and her family.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home. The family will celebrate Ella's life privately. Interment will be at St. Brigid's Cemetery, Foxley River, PEI on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 10:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, a donation could be made to the Canadian Cancer society, the Diabetes association or by performing an act of kindness for a neighbor, stranger, or loved one.

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
