Obituary of Doucette, Edward Joseph

The death occurred peacefully at the Community Hospital of O'Leary on Friday, October 29th, 2021 of Edward Joseph Doucette of Summerside, aged 79 years. Edward was born Pleasant View, P.E.I. to the late John and Melanie (Poirier) Doucette. Father of Michael, Laura, Darlene and Mellissa. Survived by his brother and sisters Mildred Allain, Marie Gallant, Phyllis Freeburn, Jean (Blaine) Yorke, Johnny (Darlene) Doucette, Karen (Roy) Handrahan and several niece and nephews. Predeceased by his sister Elaine Graham and brother Raymond Doucette. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside. By personal request there will be no visiting hours or funeral service held. Interment to take place in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery, Palmer Road, P.E.I. at a later date. Memorial donations in Edward's memory can be made directly to the Church Cemetery Fund.
