Obituary of Goodwin, Arlene Rita Ursala
The death occurred peacefully at Wedgewood Manor, Summerside, P.E.I. on Wednesday, November 10th, 2021 of Arlene Rita Ursala (Foley) Goodwin of Wellington Center, P.E.I., aged 80 years. Arlene was born in Halifax, NS. to the late Robert and Mary (Barrett) Foley.
Beloved wife of Doug Goodwin and loving mother of Frank (Kim) Goodwin. Also lovingly remembered by her 2 grandchildren Josh (Kim) and Kelsey (Tyler) and her 3 great grandchildren Jax, Jed and Easton.
Survived by her brothers and sisters Bill (Bev) Foley, Doris Beer, Donnie Foley, Barbara (Brian) Thompson and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her brother and sisters Kay Foley, Bob (Peg) Foley, Marie (Jim) Rogerson, brother in-law Ted Beer, sister in-law Linda Foley, special nephew Bruce Rogerson, mother and father in-law Mac and Mary Goodwin and brother in-law Eldon (Kay) Goodwin.
Resting at East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside, where visitation for family and friends will take place Sunday, November 14th, from 6 - 8 pm. Proof of vaccination & ID are required. A private funeral mass for family and friends will be held at Immaculate Conception Church, Richmond followed with interment in the church cemetery. Memorial donations in Arlene's memory can be made to the Immaculate Conception Parish.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
